We’re excited to announce our first APIs and IPAs event! Yep, we’re drinking beers and building apps on local startups’ APIs. Teams of entrepreneurs, developers, marketers, and students can come hang out and compete to win $1,000 worth of prizes thanks to our sponsors Silicon Valley Bank and Winter Wyman.

For our first edition we’ll be developing apps on RunKeeper’s Health Graph API. On Sunday September 11, at 10:30 am, head over to Gemvara HQ for a day of coding, eating, drinking, winning money and building cool apps for RunKeeper’s community of over 6 million users.
If you have an app idea or suggestion that you think would be a great fit, leave it in the comments section of this post. Our friends at RunKeeper are going to be checking in on ideas to help guide them in the right direction. Our goal here is to create apps that will be adopted by RunKeeper’s community.
